Trappist monk to teach contemplative prayer
William Meninger — a Trappist monk, author and retreat master from St. Benedict’s Monastery in Snowmass, Colo. — will lead local contemplative prayer workshops Sept. 9-14 in Jackson Township, Medina, Highland Heights and Akron.Meninger will present sessions on Christian Transformation from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Sept. 13 and 14 at Fairlawn West United Church of Christ, 2095 W.
